Strong Presence in International Events
Mohammed Ali Qambar, a member of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) and President of the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation (BMAAF), emphasized the importance of Bahrain's national team participating in the upcoming global sports event. "The Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation is keen on ensuring the national team's presence in this international gathering. Our team has not missed this championship since its debut in the second edition held in Las Vegas, USA, in 2015," he stated.
Aiming for Excellence
Qambar expressed confidence in the team's capabilities, stating that they aim to deliver a performance that reflects Bahrain's esteemed reputation in the global mixed martial arts arena. This commitment to excellence is driven by the support of Bahrain's leadership, particularly the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
Building a Strong Foundation
Under Sheikh Khalid's guidance, Bahrain has established a solid foundation for mixed martial arts, enabling the country to emerge as a prominent player in the sport. Qambar highlighted the significant achievements Bahrain has made in mixed martial arts, thanks to dedicated efforts to promote and expand the sport's reach within regional and international sporting circles.
Commitment to Growth
As Bahrain prepares for the upcoming event, the BMAAF remains focused on supporting the national team and fostering the growth of mixed martial arts in the kingdom. With a strong legacy of participation and a commitment to excellence, Bahrain is poised to continue its upward trajectory in the world of combat sports.
The nation looks forward to another successful representation on the global stage, showcasing the talent and determination of its athletes while contributing to the ongoing development of mixed martial arts in Bahrain.
