Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is gearing up for an action-packed weekend as it hosts the prestigious WEC 8 Hours of Bahrain, powered by Bapco Energies. While the race itself is set to be a spectacle of endurance and speed, fans can look forward to a variety of off-track entertainment for all ages on both days of the event.
One of the standout attractions is the return of BIC’s Giant Ferris Wheel, offering breathtaking views of the circuit. Fans will also be able to test their racing skills with simulators and reaction games similar to those used by professional drivers. For car enthusiasts, a classic car show will showcase stunning vehicles from a bygone era.
For younger visitors, BIC has prepared a fun-filled lineup headlined by the ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ Experience. Children can interact with their favorite characters from the Warner Bros. live-action film, including the iconic Bugs Bunny and Lola Bunny. Additionally, there will be stage shows, LED bumper cars, carnival rides, a mini-train, jumping castles, and more to ensure a memorable day for kids.
Attendees of all ages will enjoy an array of roaming performers, including jugglers, stilt-walkers, street drummers, face painters, balloon artists, and live musicians, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the event.
This year’s WEC weekend also marks the return of the Green Ticket Initiative, a joint effort by BIC and Bapco Energies aimed at promoting sustainability in Bahrain. Every ticket purchased will contribute to Bahrain’s environmental goals, including the ambitious plan to quadruple mangrove coverage across the Kingdom by 2035.
