30 Days Until the Global Stage is Set
Bahrain is gearing up for another major sporting event, with just 30 days remaining until the World Weightlifting Championships kick off from December 4 to 15. This tournament will be held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
A Unique Venue for a Landmark Event
The championships will take place in a specially designated area adjacent to the Bahrain National Theater, offering an ideal setting for athletes and spectators alike. Organized by the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) in partnership with the Bahrain Weightlifting Federation (BWF), the event is set to be a highlight in the international sports calendar, with oversight from the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF).
