HH Shaikh Nasser Stresses Responsible Energy Transition at ADIPEC 2024

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of Bapco Energies, attended the opening ceremony of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC). The event is under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and hosted by ADNOC from November 4 to 7, 2024, under the theme "Connecting Minds for a Realistic and Organized Energy Transition."

His Highness emphasized the significance of ADIPEC as one of the most prominent global forums, bringing together industry leaders and decision-makers from around the world to align their visions on investing in future opportunities. The goal is to ensure a responsible and fair transition in the energy sector, which includes fostering innovative solutions and AI applications in this vital industry.

He also expressed pride in ADIPEC’s focus on empowering youth and shaping the future of global energy by promoting programs that highlight the critical role of young people and their innovations in energy sectors.

His Highness praised the UAE for its efforts in organizing such specialized forums, stressing the importance of Bapco Energies' participation in the exhibition as it remains keen on leveraging future opportunities for a responsible energy transition.
