RCSI Medical University of Bahrain’s Alumni Reception at Bahraini Embassy in UK

The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) Medical University of Bahrain organised a special alumni reception at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in London, United Kingdom, to celebrate and acknowledge the growing success of its alumni community in the UK.
The event was hosted by His Excellency Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohamed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the UK.
Shaikh Fawaz, a non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland, stated, “Since its inception in 2004, RCSI Medical University of Bahrain has positively contributed to the growing healthcare sector in Bahrain, especially by training world-class health professionals.
As we celebrate its 20th Anniversary, with a total of 3,312 alumni, among which more than 470 alumni live and work in the UK, we are also celebrating the University’s role in furthering Bahraini-Irish and Bahraini-British, people-to-people relations.”
Professor Sameer Otoom, President of RCSI Medical University of Bahrain, thanked Shaikh Fawaz for hosting the University’s Alumni at the Bahraini Embassy.
