Saudi Hawks and Pakistan Air Force Arrive in Bahrain for Bahrain International Airshow

The Saudi Hawks and Pakistan Air Force have touched down at Sakhir Air Base ahead of their participation in the highly anticipated Bahrain International Airshow, set to take place from 13-15 November 2024. Known for its spectacular aerial displays, this year’s airshow promises to be one of the most exciting editions yet.

The Saudi Hawks, the Royal Saudi Air Force’s renowned aerobatic display team, will take to the skies with six BAE Hawk Mk.65 aircraft. The team’s precision flying and skilled maneuvers showcase the exceptional capabilities of the Royal Saudi Air Force, highlighting both the technical prowess of its aircraft and the expertise of its pilots and technicians. The team’s participation underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment to demonstrating advanced aviation technologies on an international stage.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Air Force, fresh from its joint exercise with China, "Indus Shield," returns to the Bahrain International Airshow to showcase its mastery in aerial performance. As the eighth largest air force in the world, and the largest in the Arabic world by fleet size, the Pakistan Air Force plays a key role in ensuring aerial defense. Its participation in the airshow highlights its operational readiness and commitment to aerial excellence.

Held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supervised by His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King and Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee, the Bahrain International Airshow will feature over 125 types of aircraft. Visitors will have the chance to explore these cutting-edge aircraft up close before witnessing breathtaking aerial displays and aerobatic performances that highlight the latest innovations in aviation.
