Youth Pioneer Society concludes seventh edition of Young Parliamentarian Program

Under the patronage of His Excellency Ali Bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, the Youth Pioneer Society held the closing ceremony of the seventh edition of the Young Parliamentarian Program and the eighth Youth Parliamentary Forum on November 9.
The event was attended by Redha Munfaredi, a member of the Shura Council and Deputy Patron of the ceremony, along with several esteemed members of the Shura and Representatives Councils, and Karima Mohammed Al Abassi, Secretary General of the Shura Council, the Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom, program partners, and alumni.
After the final video presentation of the program, Munfaredi, Chairman of the Youth Affairs Committee in the Shura Council, honored the graduates and all recognized individuals, conveying the greetings of Al Saleh to the Youth Pioneer Society and those involved in the program.
The eighth Youth Parliamentary Forum discussed several social, economic, and service-related issues concerning Bahraini society.
Solutions
This was within the context of proposals and recommendations presented and discussed by the youth participating in the Young Parliamentarian Program 2024, who aimed to propose suitable solutions to these issues and discuss them objectively.
The first session of the forum addressed the topic of the comprehensive national health record for emergency use, featuring Dr. Hani Ali Alsaati, a member of the Shura Council, and MP Jalila Al-Sayed from the Council of Representatives, with Fawaz Al-Qasimi moderating.
The second session focused on the Investment Encouragement Law in the non-oil sector, with contributions from Ali Husain Alshehabi, a Shura Council member, and MP Ahmed Al-Saloom, along with moderator Yusuf Ahmed.
Law
The third session discussed the law on redefining and classifying plastic materials and their uses, featuring Dr. Mohammed Ali, a Shura Council member, and Dr. Muneer Seroor, a member of the Council of Representatives, moderated by Munira Aqeel.
During the ceremony, graduates of the program and members of both the Shura and Representatives Councils who participated in the program activities and provided support were honored.
The seventh Young Parliamentarian Program, held in partnership with the European Union, the British Embassy, and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, along with media partners Al-Ayam Newspaper and Bahrain Tribune, running from May to November 2024.
