Valo Aviation Becomes Bahrain’s First Business Jet Operator as Bahrain International Airshow 2024 Kicks Off

Valo Aviation has officially become the Kingdom of Bahrain’s first business jet operator after receiving its Bahraini Air Operators Certificate (AOC). The company aims to manage 15 aircraft within the next two years from its home base in Manama, marking a major milestone for Bahrain’s aviation sector.
The announcement was made during the opening of the seventh edition of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2024, inaugurated this morning by the Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Held under the patronage of His Majesty the King, the event at Sakhir Air Base has drawn significant attention from global aviation, defense, and technology sectors.
In addition to Valo Aviation’s announcement, a major partnership was unveiled between IronNet, an AI-based collective defense cybersecurity company, and Asterion, a leader in counter-UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) technology. The two companies revealed their collaboration aimed at protecting critical infrastructure through the integration of AI-based cybersecurity and counter-UAS solutions, underscoring Bahrain’s growing role in advancing global security solutions.
As BIAS 2024 continues, more groundbreaking deals and partnerships are expected to be announced, further cementing Bahrain's position as a hub for innovation in aviation and defense technologies.
