Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Inaugurates "Study in India" Counselling Meet

In his inaugural address, Ambassador Jacob highlighted the significance of higher education and adapting to the latest market trends and study methods. He emphasized that Indian universities are committed to offering cutting-edge education, aligning with global standards. His insights resonated deeply with the participants, inspiring many to explore educational opportunities in India.

The two-day event, held on November 15th and 16th from 10 AM to 8 PM, brings together 10 prestigious universities from Tamil Nadu, Bangalore, and Pune. These include Christ University, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Karunya Institute of Technology, Kumaraguru College of Technology, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Mahatma Gandhi University, and the Laurels Centre for Global Education. A total of 15 officials are present at the meet, providing personalized counselling to students and parents.

The opening ceremony was graced by notable figures, including Sanjoy Thapa, Founder and Managing Director of SAPE, Dr. Varghese K. J. from Christ University, Dr. James Dabara from VIT Vellore's International Office, Anand Lobo, President of the Karnataka Social Club in Bahrain, and Adv. Abdul Jaleel, CEO of Laurels Centre for Global Education. Each of these dignitaries shared valuable insights into the importance of the event and the opportunities that Indian universities offer to international students.
