Bapco Energies Opens Diyar Al Muharraq Fuel Station as the Largest Service Facility in Bahrain

Bapco Energies, the integrated company leading the energy transition in the Kingdom of Bahrain, officially opened the Diyar Al Muharraq Fuel Station as one of the largest stations under the Group’s new identity, adding to a growing network of stations aimed at providing convenience for citizens and residents alike.
The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Mark Thomas, Group CEO, Mr. Essa Najibi, Chairman of Bapco Tazweed, Mrs. Basema Al Mahroos, CEO of Bapco Tazweed, and Mr. Ahmed Al Emadi, CEO of Diyar Al Muharraq along with other officials and partners.
The station was designed to meet the needs of the new generation of modern fuel stations, featuring a variety of advanced services aligned with the highest safety standards.
Commenting on the opening, Mr. Mark Thomas stated: "The opening of the Diyar Al Muharraq station is a significant step in our expansion plan for fuel service stations across all governorates in Bahrain. Our commitment to keeping pace with ongoing development, addressing energy security challenges, and enhancing operational efficiency underscores our dedication to sustainable growth. This geographic expansion is strategically designed to meet the increasing local demand for fuel services and to build modern infrastructure that aligns with and supports Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030."
Mr. Ahmed Al Emadi, CEO of Diyar Al Muharraq, said: "We are pleased to inaugurate the first fuel station in Souq Al Baraha, Diyar Al Muharraq. This step marks a significant milestone in enhancing the services provided to the residents of Diyar Al Muharraq and the surrounding areas. This station reflects our commitment to providing an integrated service infrastructure that meets the needs of the local community. I would like to express my deep appreciation to Bapco Energies and Bapco Tazweed for their efforts in implementing this project in line with the highest global standards, and their keenness to support sustainable development in line with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030."
Ms. Basema Al Mahroos, CEO of Bapco Tazweed noted, "The station was built to high standards aligned with sustainability and the needs of the modern fuel network," said Ms. Basema Al Mahroos, CEO of Bapco Tazweed. "Spanning approximately 4,000 square meters near Souq Al Baraha across from Marassi Bahrain, the station offers services to residents and visitors of Diyar Al Muharraq and surrounding areas. It is built to high sustainability and features six pumps providing various fuel products, including diesel, serving 12 vehicles simultaneously. Additionally, the station includes public facilities, retail stores, ATMs, and a range of automotive services at competitive prices."
The Diyar Al Muharraq Fuel Station aims to enhance customer experience by offering a variety of services, including high-quality fast-food outlets, convenience stores for essential products, and advanced technology like contactless payment systems for smooth operations.
