Commander-in-Chief receives US Central Command Commander

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), welcomed General Michael Kurilla, the Commander of the US Central Command (CENTCOM), for a meeting to discuss strengthening defense cooperation between Bahrain and the United States.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defense Affairs, and Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the BDF.
During the discussions, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa praised the longstanding and robust ties between Bahrain and the US, highlighting the progress made in various areas of collaboration. He emphasized the importance of further enhancing cooperation and coordination, particularly in the military domain, to advance defense relations between the two countries.
Both sides reiterated their commitment to continuing their strategic partnership and working closely to further develop defense collaboration.
