Workers in Bahrain rank among the most productive in the Arab world, earning the kingdom third place regionally and 39th globally for 2025, according to a report by CEO World Magazine.
The findings show Gulf states leading the regional rankings, with Luxem bourg topping the global table. Saudi Arabia led the Arab nations, coming 28th globally, followed by Qatar at 29th.
Bahrain placed third in the Arab world, with the UAE and Kuwait following at 44th and 50th globally.
Oman, Libya, Iraq, Egypt, and Djibouti made up the rest of the top 10 for the Arab region, with global rankings of 58th, 61st, 72nd, 87th, and 90th, respectively.
Luxembourg’s position as the most productive country is owed largely to its strong financial services sector, which thrives on a small but skilled workforce.
