The Meteorology Directorate at Bahrain’s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has announced that the Kingdom is entering a transitional phase from autumn to winter, bringing fluctuating weather conditions in the coming days.
Rainfall and Low-Pressure System Expected
According to the latest weather updates, a low-pressure system is anticipated to affect Bahrain starting Wednesday, November 27. The system's impact will peak through Thursday, November 28, bringing scattered rainfall across various regions. The intensity of rain is expected to range from light to moderate.
Strong Winds and Cold Air Mass
From Wednesday, November 27, active northwesterly winds will begin dominating the region, gradually intensifying by Thursday, November 28. The winds are forecasted to remain strong until Saturday, November 30, ushering in a cold air mass. This will lead to a significant drop in temperatures, making nights and early mornings notably chilly.
Caution Advised
The Meteorology Directorate has urged residents to stay updated with weather bulletins and follow safety precautions as wind speeds are expected to remain high during the period. The winds will gradually subside in the following days.
Regional Weather Instability
This transitional phase is typical for the northern Arabian Peninsula and Arabian Gulf, often characterized by atmospheric instability. It may result in cloud formations and sporadic rainfall, some of which could be accompanied by thunderstorms.
