It was a night of nostalgia as Canadian-Bahraini R&B duo Majid Jordan returned to Bahrain for only their second performance in the Kingdom. Nearly six years after their first concert in 2018, the show felt more like a family reunion than a tour stop, drawing friends, family, and devoted fans for a deeply personal and unforgettable evening.

The concert, part of their Good People world tour, followed a brilliant performance at Dubai Opera on November 22. While Dubai offered grandeur and elegance, Bahrain’s leg of the tour carried a unique emotional weight for vocalist Majid AlMaskati, who spoke candidly about what it meant to perform on home soil. Calling the night “a dream fulfilled”, he poured his heart out to the crowd, who reciprocated with love and pride.

Majid Jordan — composed of AlMaskati and producer Jordan Ullman — delivered a stunning setlist that encapsulated their decade-long evolution in music. From their breakout collaboration Hold On, We’re Going Home with Drake, which launched them into global fame, to tracks from their latest album, the duo’s sound filled the amphitheater with a soulful atmosphere.

The night wasn’t just a celebration of music, but also a call for unity and change. In a powerful moment during their encore, the duo voiced solidarity with global causes, concluding their set with the poignant words, “Free Palestine”. The declaration was met with resounding applause, blending artistry with advocacy in a way that resonated deeply with the audience.

As the curtains fell, thunderous applause echoed through the amphitheater. Majid Jordan’s return to Bahrain was more than a concert — it was a reminder of music’s ability to connect, inspire, and unite. Their performance reaffirmed their enduring bond with the Kingdom and left an indelible mark on all who witnessed it.
