Mara’ee 2024 promotes sustainable food security

The Bahrain Animal Production Show (Mara’ee), held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, reflects the Kingdom’s strong commitment to food security and its sustainability.
This focus was emphasised in HM the King’s address during the opening of the third session of the sixth legislative term last October, where he commended the government’s efforts to enhance food security and natural resources while directing the adoption of advanced technologies and artificial intelligence to achieve optimal results across developmental sectors.
The Mara’ee exhibition demonstrates the success of national strategies and initiatives of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
These efforts align with enhancing investment opportunities in the agricultural and animal sectors, promoting sustainable growth. This year’s seventh edition of Mara’ee is set to take place from November 27 to December 1.
