MP Jalal Kazim has submitted a proposal to the Council of Representatives advocating for the extension of service hours in government ministries to include both morning and evening shifts. The proposal aims to improve service quality and create new job opportunities for Bahraini citizens.
MP Kazim argues that the current morning-only operating hours of many ministries create significant inconvenience for a large segment of the population.
He highlighted that these hours often clash with work schedules and personal commitments, causing delays and difficulties, particularly for urgent matters. T
he proposal specifically addresses the needs of senior citizens who may struggle with online services and require in-person assistance.
It also acknowledges the challenges faced by working individuals who cannot access government services during the current morning hours due to work constraints or overwhelming crowds.
“By extending service hours to include both morning and evening shifts, citizens will have greater flexibility in choosing a time that best suits their schedules, leading to smoother processes and reduced congestion during peak morning hours,” he stated to the Daily Tribune.
