Gulf Chemists Union Partners with Nexus Group to Organize GCA 2025 in the Kingdom of Bahrain

The Gulf Chemists Union (GCU) and Nexus Group have officially signed a collaboration agreement to organize the highly anticipated 2nd Edition of the GCA International Conference & Exhibition. The agreement was formalized by Dr. Abdul Wahid Al Nakal, Secretary General of GCU, and David Joseph, Managing Director of Nexus Group in the esteemed presence of Professor Zeid Al Othman, President of GCU, senior officials from the region and key representatives from both organizations.
GCA 2025 is scheduled to be held in November 2025 in the Kingdom of Bahrain and will convene international & regional chemical leaders and experts from governments, industries, academia, and societies.

This partnership represents a significant step forward in advancing innovation and promoting knowledge-sharing within the GCC’s chemical industry. By combining expertise and shared vision, both organizations are committed to delivering an impactful event that addresses key industry solutions, and enablers and fosters global collaboration.

About Gulf Chemists Union (GCU)
The Gulf Chemists Union (GCU) was established by four Gulf Chemical Societies: the Saudi Chemical Society, the UAE Chemical Society, the Kuwait Chemical Society, and the Bahrain Society of Chemists. It was officially announced in Kuwait in 2016. In May 2018, the Cabinet of Bahrain approved GCU as an international NGO, with Bahrain as its headquarters and the Ministry of Oil & Environment tasked with oversight. GCU is dedicated to advancing the chemical industry across the GCC through advocacy, innovation, and collaboration.
