Foreign Minister hints GCC joint action soon
Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said that the development of the GCC joint action would start right after the conclusion of Riyadh summit and in conformity with visions of the GCC leaders.
He pointed out the vision of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud pertaining to reinforcing military, security and economic coordination leading to the development of GCC joint action.
In a statement to Bahrain TV, the Minister said that the 36th GCC Summit aimed to protect the GCC countries and play a key role in restoring stability and security of neighbouring countries.
He attached great importance to the 36th GCC Summit, which was held amid an unstable milieu witnessed by the region, noting the political stability, prosperity and wise leaderships enjoyed by the GCC countries.
