Brainobrain Bahrain Team win awards at landmark 12th International Brainobrain Abacus Competition in Dubai

Dubai played host to the 12th International Brainobrain Abacus Competition on November 23, 2024, bringing together an impressive gathering of 2036 young participants from 18 countries.

This landmark event showcased the prowess of young minds in the realm of mental math and abacus skills.

Representing Brainobrain Bahrain, under the guidance of Directors of Brainobrain Bahrain, Mr George Raphel and Mrs Hima Joy, 9 students participated and won 5 Champions, 2 Gold Topper and 2 Silver Topper awards. Winners’ names are Deqlhn Zelig Pereira – Champion, Muhammed Izaan – Champion, Atharv Kaushal – Champion, S. Nilan – Champion, Arav Rawat – Champion, Cayden Coutinho – Gold Topper, Ehan Anjam – Gold Topper, Aryaman Dubey – Silver Topper & Laveti Theshmita – Silver Topper.

Students took part in the 3-minute competition where they were challenged to solve mathematical sums using the tool of abacus or through mental calculations.

They took it in the right competitive spirit and competed to complete the sums with maximum accuracy and minimum time. Children were awarded Champion, Gold and Silver Titles the same day evening.

Kids were honored to receive their awards from the distinguished guests of the evening, Chief Guest: His Excellency Mohamed Abdulla Mohamed Al Marzooqi, Private Consultant of the H.H Sheikh Ahamed Bin Faisal Al Qassim and the Guest Of Honor: Mr Bijender Singh, Head of Chancery & Consul (Protocol & Welfare) at the Indian Consulate in Dubai with Mr Anand Subramaniam, Managing Director, Brainobrain International and Mr Arul Subramaniam, Director Technical, Brainobrain International.
