Winners of Bahrain Real Estate Innovation Competition 2024 Announced

The winners of the second edition of the Bahrain Real Estate Innovation Competition were unveiled at Exhibition World Bahrain, coinciding with the conference held during Cityscape Bahrain 2024. The competition, a cornerstone of the National Real Estate Sector Plan 2021–2024, emphasizes the role of innovation in advancing Bahrain's real estate industry.
The event attracted a diverse range of innovative projects from talented Bahrainis, supported by platinum sponsor Infracorp and gold sponsor Diyar Al Muharraq.
Winning Projects
1. Maryam Waleed Al Noaimi secured first place with her project on investment platforms for urban heritage areas, winning a prize of $20,000.
2. Hussain Yousif Al Bouri claimed second place with his project, “Aqari-Invest,” earning $12,000.
3. Bader Abdullah took third place for his project, “Amlaki” (My Property), receiving $8,000.

Promoting Innovation in Real Estate
Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf, Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), expressed gratitude to the participants and sponsors for their support in nurturing national talents. He commended the winners for their forward-thinking and practical approaches, particularly in the areas of sustainable urban development and property technology innovation, which align with the vision for Bahrain’s real estate future.
Khalaf highlighted that the competition’s second edition built on the success of its inaugural event, showcasing the creative potential of Bahraini youth. He reaffirmed RERA’s commitment to fostering innovation and providing a supportive platform for local talent to thrive in the real estate sector.
The competition continues to position Bahrain as a hub for innovation, driving progress and sustainability in the regional real estate market.
