Police Arrest Multiple Suspects in Drug Seizures Worth BD 100,000

In a series of targeted operations, the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigations and Forensic Science successfully apprehended several individuals of various nationalities, including a woman, for possession of over 7 kilograms of narcotics and psychoactive substances. The operations also resulted in the confiscation of 32 liters of CBD oil, with the total value of the seized items estimated at approximately BD 100,000.
The arrests were made following meticulous investigations into intelligence received by the directorate. Law enforcement officers were able to identify and detain the suspects in separate incidents, seizing the illicit drugs and related substances. Legal procedures have been initiated, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
The Anti-Narcotics Directorate reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the community from the dangers of illicit drugs and urged citizens and residents to report any suspicious activities.
