HM King Hamad hailed on Bahraini Women’s Day celebration

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW), on Bahraini Women’s Day, which coincides this year with the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty’s Accession.

HRH Princess Sabeeka praised the significant progress achieved by Bahraini women under His Majesty’s patronage, highlighting their vital role in national development.

She emphasised that these achievements reflect Bahrain’s advancement under His Majesty’s vision, fostering a nation that values progress, and cultural heritage, where women serve as key pillars of the Kingdom’s development and progress.

Her Royal Highness also commended the SCW’s achievements, attributing them to the support of His Majesty and the Kingdom’s developmental initiatives. She affirmed that Bahraini women have become essential partners in advancing the Kingdom’s comprehensive development process led by His Majesty the King.

HRH Princess Sabeeka affirmed that the SCW will remain the trusted national institution dedicated to realising HM the King’s vision for advancing the role of women and integrating their needs into all aspects of national work and development.

She highlighted the council’s responsibility to monitor the progress of Bahraini women, safeguard their rights, and launch initiatives and programmes aimed at increasing women’s contributions across all sectors.

These efforts, grounded in constitutional principles, ensure that women continue to work alongside men in all fields of national work.

Her Royal Highness expressed gratitude to His Majesty for his continued support and wished the Kingdom further progress and prosperity under his leadership.
