Palakkad Arts and Cultural Theatre Hosts Successful Sports Day at Ittihad Club Ground

Palakkad Arts and Cultural Theatre (PACT) successfully hosted its highly anticipated Sports Day, with over 300 members of the community coming together to participate in a day full of healthy competition and exercise. The event, held at the Ittihad Club Ground, kicked off with a lively march past, marking the start of a fun-filled day of sporting events.

PACT President Ashok Kumar presided over the formal ceremony, while General Secretary Satish Kumar welcomed participants and guests. The day featured a range of competitions designed to engage both children and adults, with events organized in four distinct groups. These competitions were held at individual and group levels, ensuring everyone could participate regardless of age or skill level.

The event’s organizers, including Pact Chief Coordinator Jyoti Menon and other key figures like Sivadas Nair, Murali Menon, and Sajitha Satish, led the activities with energy and enthusiasm. Participants expressed their excitement, calling the event a wonderful experience for the diaspora, providing not just a chance to compete but also to unite over shared physical activity.

Sreejith, Praveen, Vishnu, Jithin Raj, Dhanya Praveen, Shivaputhri, Dhanya Rahul, and Neetu Rohit played pivotal roles, leading various groups through the day’s events. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Murthy Noorani, celebrating the success of the day.
