Ministry of Labor celebrates Bahraini Women's Day

The Ministry of Labor organized a special ceremony to honor the achievements of female employees in celebration of Bahraini Women’s Day, observed annually on December 1. The event took place at the Ministry’s headquarters and was graced by the presence of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor.

During the ceremony, employees with over 20 years of service were recognized for their dedication and contributions. In his address, His Highness commended their commitment and professionalism, emphasizing the Ministry’s efforts to create opportunities that align with women’s career aspirations.

The Undersecretary also highlighted the role of the Ministry’s Equal Opportunities Committee, which is implementing eight initiatives to promote gender equality, competitiveness, and fairness.

“Bahraini women play a pivotal role in our nation's progress, excelling across sectors and contributing significantly to the labor market and community development,” noted His Highness. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s dedication to launching initiatives that enhance employment and leadership opportunities for women in the private sector, further solidifying their role in the Kingdom’s development.

The event featured a series of activities and concluded with a photo session to commemorate the occasion.
