Cabinet Celebrates Team Bahrain, Workforce Driving Kingdom’s Success

Bahrain’s people-centred vision has once again earned international acclaim as the Cabinet extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the Kingdom’s triumphant performance at the Arab Government Excellence Awards. This recognition underscores the nation’s commitment to harnessing collective effort and innovation to drive progress.

Prestigious Honours

The accolades include the prestigious Best Arab Minister Award, presented to the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

Additionally, the Alternative Sentencing Program clinched the Arab Government Excellence Award for the Best Arab Government Community Development Project, while the Lamea National Program was recognised as the Best Arab Government Project to Empower Young People.

Praising these milestones, the Cabinet expressed pride in Team Bahrain’s ability to achieve excellence across various sectors, attributing these successes to the unwavering dedication of the nation’s workforce.

The Cabinet also highlighted the pivotal role played by local entities in hosting major events that cement Bahrain’s position on the global stage.

Mara’ee Success

One such achievement was the seventh edition of the Bahrain Animal Production Show (Mara’ee 2024), held under the patronage of His Majesty the King.

The Cabinet commended the Bahrain Defence Force’s Royal Guard for their contributions to the event’s success, alongside the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, whose organisational efforts were pivotal.

Further celebrating the Kingdom’s hosting prowess, the Cabinet acknowledged the resounding success of Jewellery Arabia 2024, Cityscape Bahrain 2024, and Scent Arabia 2024.

Held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, these events attracted significant participation, spotlighting Bahrain’s capacity to deliver world-class exhibitions.

Collaborative Efforts

The Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Tourism, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, and the Real Estate Regulatory Authority were also commended for their collaborative efforts in ensuring these events’ seamless execution.

The economic benefits of such initiatives were outlined in a report by the Ministerial Committee for Financial and Economic Affairs and Fiscal Balance.

These successes formed part of broader discussions at the Cabinet’s weekly meeting, where progress across national and international initiatives was reviewed.
