The High Civil Court has ordered a Bahraini real estate company to pay a Gulf businessman BD120,088.889 in compensation for breach of contract, according to lawyer Maryam Al Khaja.
The ruling stems from a dispute over a property sale and subsequent lease agreement. Al Khaja, representing the Gulf businessman, explained that her client purchased a property from the defendant company and paid the full purchase price.
Following the sale, the client leased the property back to the company for a monthly rent of BD900.667 for the first two years, increasing to B 956.958 in the third year. But the real estate company failed to meet its obligations under the lease agreement.
