Stage set for 12th Bahraini Farmers’ Market launch

The 12th edition of the Bahraini Farmers’ Market will be launched on December 7–February 22, in partnership with the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) and STC Bahrain, at the Budaiya Botanical Garden. This was announced by His Excellency Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister.
Bahraini farmers, brands and craftsmen, will participate in the market, which coincides with the country’s National holidays.
The announcement coincided with the minister’s inspection visit of the market, where he oversaw the preparation of its opening. Al Mubarak affirmed that holding the Farmers’ Market follows His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives to invest in the enhancement of food security, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The event is set to welcome a broad range of participants, including local farmers, businesses, and artisans, reflecting its growing popularity and impact.
