HRH Prince Salman hails Bahrain’s fallen heroes and their eternal legacy

The honourable sacrifices of Bahrain’s fallen servicemen serve as an enduring source of inspiration for generations, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and President of the Supreme Commission for the Royal Fund for Fallen Servicemen (RFFS), affirmed during a meeting at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

These sacrifices, HRH noted, are forever etched in the Kingdom’s history, a legacy of patriotism and dedication that continues to inspire.

National Gratitude

His Royal Highness paid tribute to the chivalry and courage of the fallen servicemen, expressing deep gratitude to those who have safeguarded Bahrain with unwavering loyalty and integrity.

Their selflessness, HRH said, is a reflection of the resilience and commitment of the Bahraini people, who remain steadfast in their devotion to the Kingdom.

During the meeting, His Royal Highness emphasised the steadfast support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the Supreme Commission for the RFFS.

HRH highlighted the critical role of the Commission in providing care and ensuring prosperous lives for the families of fallen servicemen, reflecting Bahrain’s unwavering commitment to its people.

Fund’s Role

As the President of the Supreme Commission, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the Fund’s vital role in supporting the families of the Kingdom’s heroes.

HRH praised the administrators of the Fund for their efforts in achieving its objectives, which include addressing the needs of the families and fulfilling the noble purposes of the Fund.

Future Focus

During the meeting, the Supreme Commission delved into the Fund’s agenda, discussing key topics and mechanisms to further support its beneficiaries.

These discussions, His Royal Highness noted, are crucial in ensuring that the Fund adapts to the evolving needs of the families it serves, keeping their welfare at the forefront.

Unified Commitment

The session brought together key officials, including Lieutenant-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander, and Vice President of the Supreme Commission.

Other attendees included the Minister of Interior, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Defence Affairs, HE Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, along with other committee members.
