The Muharraq Nights Festival is back for its third edition, launching yesterday, and running until December 30th.

The festival, taking place along the Pearling Path, coincides with Bahrain’s national holidays and festive season.

The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) has announced the festival’s operating hours: Sunday to Wednesday, 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm; and Thursday to Saturday, 5:00 pm to 12:00 midnight.

Organisers have implemented a variety of transportation options for visitors.

These include boat trips departing from the Bahrain National Museum to Bu Maher Fort, and golf carts available for hire with a driver at four locations: Al Qaisariya Market, Bait Al Nokhada, Bait Al Jalahma, and the Pearling Path pedestrian bridge in Bu Maher.

Streetlights

These transport options will incur a fee. Pedestrians can also explore the Pearling Path by following the illuminated streetlights. Paid parking services will be available at four locations: near Bait Al Alawi, near Bait Fakhro, opposite the Pearling Path visitor centre, and near Bin Matar Building.

Those wishing to pre-book parking can do so through the official “Amakin” website or by visiting one of the designated parking areas.

Free parking will also be available at the Bahrain National Museum, Al Hala Sports Club, the Hanging Garden parking lot in Bu Maher, street parking in Bu Maher, the Hanging Garden square in Bu Maher, and the parking lots of Al Istiqlal Secondary Girls’ School and Abu Obaidah Al Jarrah Primary Boys’ School.

BACA has launched an interactive map and a comprehensive electronic guide detailing the festival’s program, events, locations, and boat trip schedules.
