MP seeks comprehensive breakdown of government tenders, bids for each year

MP Jalal Kazim has submitted a parliamentary question to the Minister of the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council, Ghanem bin Fadhel Al Buainain, seeking detailed information on government tenders and bids issued since the beginning of the current legislative session.
The question requests a comprehensive breakdown of the total number of tenders and bids for each year, categorised by ministry, government body, and company.
It also seeks a detailed list of the types of tenders and bids, the average processing time for applications, and the total value of awarded tenders and bids, broken down by government body and company.
Requirement
Furthermore, MP Kazim’s inquiry asks whether any tenders or bids included a requirement for community contributions and, if so, how many.
This inquiry aims to enhance transparency and effectiveness in the government’s tendering process and assess the level of community engagement in government contracts.
The Minister is expected to respond within the established parliamentary timeframe.
