HRH the Crown Prince Meets U.S. Deputy National Security Advisor to Enhance Bilateral Cybersecurity Cooperation

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, met with Anne Neuberger, the Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber and Emerging Technologies of the United States of America, on the sidelines of the 20th edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue.
HRH Prince Salman reaffirmed the deep-rooted partnership between Bahrain and the United States, emphasizing their strategic alliance, particularly in defense and cybersecurity. He highlighted the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (CSIPA) as a pioneering framework aimed at fostering multilateral collaboration to promote stability and prosperity globally.
“The CSIPA is a model for how nations can come together with mutual respect and shared goals to build a future rooted in peace and economic growth,” HRH the Crown Prince said.
During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral and multilateral frameworks to advance collective security and sustainable development. The advanced cooperation between Bahrain and the U.S., particularly in military and cybersecurity, was highlighted as a testament to the strength of their alliance.
Anne Neuberger acknowledged Bahrain’s pivotal role in promoting stability in the region and the Kingdom’s active engagement in advancing innovative approaches to security and technology.
The meeting also discussed shared aspirations and ways to bolster cooperation in defense and cybersecurity.
Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Defence Affairs, HE Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, and the Bahrain Defence Force Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were in attendance.
