India-Bahrain Relations in Focus as EAM Jaishankar Begins Crucial Two-Day Visit

India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar arrived yesterday night to attend the 4th India-Bahrain High Joint Commission (HJC) with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. Dr. Jaishankar will also be speaking at the concluding plenary session of the 20th IISS Manama Dialogue today.
This visit aims to strengthen the multifaceted ties between India and Bahrain. The ministerial meeting will review the entire gamut of bilateral relations, focusing on enhancing economic cooperation. Both nations are expected to explore avenues to further solidify their partnership in trade, investment, and infrastructure development.
