The All-Filipino basketball competition brought together Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) teams from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain for an exciting two-day event. The tournament was honoured by the presence of Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain, Her Excellency Anne Jalando-on Louis.
The Muharaq Sports Club was jam-packed with fans and enthusiasts of the sport, which created an electric atmosphere. Teams that took part in the competition were Qatar Junior Falcons, Abu Dhabi Mowen, Dubai Jazzville, NGB Saudi Team and Verminex Bahrain Eagles Team. Participants showed their skills, camaraderie, and love for the sport as one way of rejoicing in Filipino culture and community spirit in the region.
This annual event is a yearly showcase of Filipino basketball skills in the region and unites them under one umbrella of brotherhood and sportsmanship.
