Thousands of lights now brighten Riffa’s Clock Tower, marking the start of the Southern Municipality’s National Day celebrations with its most ambitious decorative effort in years.

Aqra Roundabout in Isa Town has been decked out with custom-designed lights due to its central position between Abu Dhabi and Al Quds Avenues.

Isa Town Market and its iconic gate — one of the area’s most recognised landmarks — have also been spruced up with festive decorations.

In a first for the area, Bukuwara Road and Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Avenue in Riffa Market were added to the decoration route.

The pedestrian bridge on Riffa Avenue and the Riffa Central Market building have also been lit up, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere for shoppers and residents alike.

The Southern Municipal Council welcomed the effort, saying such decorations bring people together by creating a warm and lively setting
