ILA holds successful Sneha Annual Day 2024 celebration

The Indian Ladies Association (ILA), the first women’s organization in the GCC, celebrated its Sneha Annual Day 2024 with joy, gratitude, and love at the Acacia Ballroom, Ramee Grand, Seef.

This event highlighted the achievements of the children at the ILA Sneha Recreation Centre, which has been a beacon of hope for children with special needs for over 37 years.

ILA President, Mrs. Kiran Mangle, shared heartfelt words during the celebration: “Children who are differently-abled are blessed by God with unique talents, making them extraordinary. At Sneha, we strive to nurture these special abilities with affection, care, and responsibility.”

The evening was marked by remarkable performances by the Sneha children, who showcased their confidence through: yoga demonstrations, highlighting their physical strength and focus by teacher Neelanjana; a beautifully choreographed ballet dance, capturing grace and dedication, and an engaging fashion show, reflecting their creativity and teamwork.

The event also honored the efforts of Sneha coordinators, volunteers, and teachers who work tirelessly to support these children and their families.

Guests The guest list included notable figures and sponsors, such as Shirley Yateem, Alok Gupta (Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons), Anil Nawani (Mega Mart), Ramesh Waghnani (City Mart) and Media Partners, Live FM and Star Vision News Gifts, including mementos and paintings created by the children, were presented to the guests as a token of appreciation.
