Filipino-American community celebrates Thanksgiving

The Filipino-American community in Bahrain came together to celebrate Thanksgiving with a heartwarming dinner that blended both Filipino and American traditions.
Hosted by Joselito Sarmiento, Vice President of the Filipino American Association of Bahrain (Fil Am Bahrain), the festive feast was held at his residence in Juffair, offering a warm atmosphere of hospitality and camaraderie.
Professionals and families came together in a solid proof of strong unity and solidarity.
Mr. Sarmiento extended his gratitude to all the guests who attended the dinner.
“Despite being far from our homeland, we came into one spirit of gratitude, celebrating this occasion with glee and conviviality,” he said.
He further added that “we may be living thousands of miles away from our families in the Philippines and the US, but this event reminded us that we still have much to be thankful for, especially the friendships and support we have found here in Bahrain’’.
