HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister meets with the Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, held a significant meeting today with the Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, at Gudaibiya Palace.

During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman underscored the longstanding and strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He highlighted the close collaboration across various sectors, particularly in the military and defence, which has cemented the partnership between the two nations.

The Crown Prince emphasised the mutual commitment of both Bahrain and Pakistan to continue enhancing their bilateral ties. He noted the importance of building on the existing partnerships to benefit both countries and their peoples, reinforcing the value of cooperation for regional stability.

HRH Prince Salman also recognised Pakistan’s vital role in promoting regional peace and security, alongside its allied countries. His Royal Highness further acknowledged the significant contributions of the Pakistani community to Bahrain’s growth and development, recognising their integral role in the Kingdom’s progress.

The meeting provided a platform to discuss ways to further strengthen the strategic ties between Bahrain and Pakistan. Additionally, the latest regional and international developments, along with issues of mutual interest, were addressed during the talks.

In response, Admiral Naveed Ashraf expressed his gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s ongoing commitment to enhancing Bahrain-Pakistan relations, particularly in the military and defence sectors. The Admiral also extended his well-wishes to Bahrain for its continued progress and prosperity.

Attending the meeting were several prominent figures, including His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force, along with other senior officials.

This meeting signifies the Kingdom’s ongoing dedication to strengthening its strategic partnerships, particularly with Pakistan, to ensure mutual growth and security for both nations.
