Bahrain Takes Healthcare to New Heights with Local Training Program

Bahraini doctors will now have access to world-class specialized training within the Kingdom, eliminating the need to travel abroad, thanks to the newly launched Bahraini Board. This initiative aims to elevate healthcare standards and foster homegrown medical expertise.

Member of Parliament Jalal Kadhem lauded the move as a significant milestone in strengthening Bahrain’s healthcare system. “The Bahraini Board provides an opportunity to build a self-sufficient workforce of medical specialists while easing financial pressures on doctors who previously had to train overseas,” he said.

Highlighting the initiative’s impact, MP Kadhem emphasized that it aligns with Bahrain’s constitutional guarantee of healthcare for all. “With the Bahraini Board, we’ll offer expert training that meets international standards, raising the quality of healthcare services for everyone living in Bahrain,” he stated.

The collaboration between the government and Parliament to establish this program was also praised, with MP Kadhem expressing confidence in Bahrain’s potential to become a regional hub for medical education. He noted that the program will open new opportunities for Bahraini medical professionals and enhance the Kingdom's healthcare services.
