HRH Prince Salman: Logistics Sector Vital to Bahrain’s Development Goals

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reaffirmed the importance of the logistics sector as a strategic pillar supporting Bahrain’s economic growth and aspirations.

During a meeting yesterday at Sakhir Palace with Dr. Tobias Meyer, Chief Executive Officer of DHL Group, HRH Prince Salman emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to advancing its economic sectors through partnerships with leading international companies.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and His Excellency Shaikh Ahmed bin Ali Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DHL Express Bahrain, along with other senior officials.

HRH Prince Salman underscored the Kingdom’s dedication to implementing strategies and programmes that strengthen Bahrain’s logistics capabilities in line with international standards. He highlighted the successful partnership with DHL, which has enhanced the logistics sector and contributed to Bahrain’s broader economic development.

The Crown Prince also praised the role of Bahrain’s national workforce in supporting global companies operating within the Kingdom. He extended his best wishes for the continued success of DHL’s operations and its contributions to Bahrain’s development goals.

This commitment aligns with Bahrain’s comprehensive development objectives led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, aiming to consolidate the Kingdom’s competitiveness and drive economic diversification.
