Hilton Bahrain celebrated Bahrain National Day in a meaningful way by partnering with the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral & Communication Difficulties to host an art competition. The initiative showcased the creativity of six talented young Bahraini artists, aged 7 to 12, who submitted ten remarkable art pieces.
The competition aimed to foster inclusivity and provide a platform for children with communication and behavioral challenges to express themselves through art. The winning artwork, along with all other entries, will be displayed in the Hilton Bahrain lobby from December 12 to 16, inviting guests and community members to admire the talent and resilience of these young artists.
The judging panel included key figures from Bahrain’s art and hospitality sectors, such as Tamer Farouk, General Manager of Hilton Bahrain; Rasha Al Mannai, a prominent local artist; and Sheikha Rania Al Khalifa, Director of the Bahrain Society for Children with Behavioral & Communication Difficulties.
Tamer Farouk expressed pride in supporting the initiative, saying, “This event not only celebrates Bahrain National Day but also highlights the exceptional talent of young artists in our community. Their work is a testament to their creativity and resilience, and we are honored to provide a space where their voices can be celebrated.”
Renowned artist Rasha Al Mannai added, “The art created by these children is incredibly moving. Each piece tells a story and reflects the beauty of diversity within our society. It’s an honor to be part of an event that uplifts and celebrates young talent.”
Sheikha Rania Al Khalifa emphasized the transformative power of art in self-expression, particularly for children facing communication and behavioral challenges. “This competition goes beyond showcasing their talent—it fosters community awareness and appreciation for their unique perspectives. We are deeply grateful to Hilton Bahrain for their support in making this initiative a success.”
The exhibition at Hilton Bahrain runs until December 16, offering a chance to celebrate the hard work and creativity of these young artists.
