Bahrain proudly marks a historic milestone in its energy sector with the inauguration of the Bapco Modernisation Project, under the patronage of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and in the presence of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. This transformational project, the largest in the Kingdom’s history, is a cornerstone of Bahrain’s Vision 2030, designed to enhance refining capacity, boost operational efficiency, and drive sustainability through cutting-edge technologies.
The milestone aligns with the 53rd National Day celebrations and the Silver Jubilee of HM the King’s accession, symbolizing 25 years of remarkable progress under his leadership.
A shining example of national development, the project positions Bahrain as a global energy leader while creating opportunities for over 500 Bahraini engineers to lead operations, embodying the Kingdom’s commitment to innovation and progress.
