Construction on a BD 2.3 million commercial development project in Salman City is expected to begin early next year, according to Basim Abu Idris, representative of the Northern Governorate's second constituency. The project, which will encompass five plots of land totaling 14,000 square meters, will be undertaken by Yusuf Al Zayani Trading and Contracting Company.
Abu Idris stated that preparations are underway, with the final paperwork currently being completed with the contracting company before construction commences in 2025.

The development will include waterfront restaurants, a supermarket, a fitness centre, and various retail shops across a total built-up area of approximately 5,000 square meters.
The project follows an August tender issued by the Housing Bank, which attracted ten construction and contracting companies. Yusuf Al Zayani Trading and Contracting Company was ultimately selected. The development is anticipated to significantly enhance commercial opportunities and amenities within Salman Town.
