Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Launches "Wow Mom" Competition for Malayali Mothers and Children

The Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam Women’s Forum has announced the launch of "Wow Mom", a cultural and intellectual competition exclusively for expatriate Malayali mothers and their children aged 5 to 13. The event, designed to celebrate the bond between mother and child, will begin on January 9 and conclude with a grand finale on January 31.

The initiative was unveiled during a press conference by Samajam President P.V. Radhakrishna Pillai and General Secretary Varghese Karakkal, with additional details provided by Women’s Forum President Mohini Thomas and Secretary Jaya Ravikumar.

Event Goals and Highlights

The competition aims to emphasize the role of mothers in nurturing their children's mental health and personality while fostering a stronger parent-child connection. Participants will engage in multiple creative rounds, offering a platform to showcase their talents:

Talent Round: A stage to display unique skills.

Cinematic Dance Round: Performances focused on Indian cinematic dance styles.

Family Pictorial Round: Involvement of family members in a creative showcase.

Dialogue Round: Theatrical performances based on assigned topics.

Fashion Show: A display of style and elegance.

Q&A Round: A test of knowledge and quick thinking.

Special awards include the Best Mom title and recognition for second and third place winners. Additionally, a Viewers’ Choice Popular Mom will be determined through public voting. Contestants must submit a one-minute self-introduction video as part of the pre-event formalities.
