ISB Annual Cultural Fair 2024 kicks off with enthusiastic turnout

The first day of the ISB Annual Cultural Fair 2024 saw a lively and vibrant turnout of parents, students, teachers, and well-wishers at the Indian School grounds in Isa Town. The Fair was officially inaugurated by Indian Ambassador Vinod K. Jacob.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Ministry of Labour Assistant Undersecretary Ahmed Al Hayki, Private Education Director Lulwa Ghassan Al Muhanna, Director of Risk Assessment and Legal Affairs (Ministry of Education) Reem Abodh Al Sanaei, General Directorate of Traffic Captain Khulood Yahya Ebrahim, Lt. Gen. Shaikha Ahood Abdulla Ahmed al Khalifa, BKG Holding and Qatar Engineering Laboratories Chairman & General Manager KG Baburajan, Amad Baeed Electrical Managing Director Pambavasan Nair, ICRF Chairman Adv. VK Thomas, ISB Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Secretary V. Rajapandian, Star Vision Events Chairman & CEO Sethuraj Kadakkal, Vice-Chairman & Member HSSE and Sports Dr. Mohammed Faizal, Assistant Secretary & Hon. Member-Academics Ranjini Mohan, Member - Projects & Maintenance Mithun Mohan, Member Biju George, Member - Transport Mohammad Nayaz Ullah, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, and Fair Organising Committee General Convener Vipin Kumar.

In his speech, Ambassador Vinod K. Jacob commended the achievements of Indian School students, specifically noting their enthusiastic participation in the Bharat Ko Janiye quiz contest organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, India. Of the 8,000 registrations from Bahrain, 3,200 were from Indian School.

The audience was also treated to an energetic performance by singer Vineeth Sreenivasan and his team, who entertained the crowd with lively tunes. As the fair continues on Friday, excitement builds for the upcoming North Indian musical performances led by musician and singer Tia Kar, along with more cultural displays and activities.
