The Ministry of Youth Affairs has launched the ‘Bel Bahraini’ programme in collaboration with the care and development authority, aiming to strengthen Bahraini identity and preserve cultural heritage among the youth.
Her Excellency Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to instilling national values, traditions, and customs in young people as a cornerstone of its strategy.
The initiative aligns with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to uphold Bahraini identity and national values, supported by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The minister emphasised that the programme reflects the policies of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, chaired by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs.
It aims to nurture a generation that cherishes Bahrain’s traditions and cultural heritage. ‘Bel Bahraini’ seeks to educate youth about the importance of preserving Bahraini customs, traditions, and language while encouraging them to embrace and promote these values for future generations.
It also highlights the role of cultural identity in building a cohesive society that balances rooted heritage with global openness.
