In a heartwarming display of community solidarity, the Pakistani Women’s Association (PWA) distributed nearly 150 items of warm clothing to a deserving camp in Tubli. The donation included essential winter items such as socks, sweaters, jackets, and beanies, offering much-needed relief during the chilly winter months.
The initiative was spearheaded by Mrs. Shahmeen Islam, President of the PWA, alongside Rahila Nadeem, the organization’s Public Relations Head. Their leadership and dedication ensured the smooth distribution of clothing to individuals and families in need.
Generous donors from across the city contributed new sweaters and other winter essentials, showcasing the strength of collective goodwill. This effort underscores the Association's commitment to uplifting underprivileged communities and providing vital support during challenging times.
“This initiative demonstrates how a united community can bring meaningful change,” said Mrs. Islam. “We are deeply grateful to all those who contributed and helped spread warmth and kindness this winter.”
The Pakistani Women’s Association continues to lead by example, embodying the spirit of compassion and community engagement through their ongoing charitable efforts.
