Gulf Air Engineers Complete Airbus A320 Training at Gulf Aviation Academy

Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, proudly announced the successful completion of a two-month Airbus A320 type training course by 14 licensed engineers and technicians at the Gulf Aviation Academy (GAA), the training arm of Gulf Air Group.

The program provided an in-depth focus on the theoretical and practical aspects of A320 maintenance, emphasizing CFM56 and V2500 engines for B1.1 and B2 certification categories.

The rigorous curriculum encompassed aircraft systems structure, engine operations, maintenance, repair procedures, and advanced troubleshooting techniques. This comprehensive training equips Gulf Air engineers with the expertise needed to uphold the highest safety and operational standards for the airline’s A320 fleet.

Captain Qassim Ismaeel, Gulf Air’s Chief Operations Officer, expressed his pride in the engineers’ accomplishments: “We are incredibly proud of the dedication shown by these 14 Gulf Air engineers. This intensive Airbus A320 type training is essential for maintaining our stringent safety standards and preparing our team for future challenges in aviation maintenance.
