HM King receives letter of gratitude from HH Shaikh Nasser

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a letter of thanks and appreciation from His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bapco Energies. In the letter, HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted Bahrain’s rich history of achievement and innovation, starting from its pearl trade to the discovery of the first oil well in the Middle East. His Highness noted the Kingdom’s achievements in the energy sector, including the establishment of the region’s first oil refinery in 1929, and expressed pride in the ongoing development efforts led by HM the King’s vision.

Dedication

In response, HM the King sent a letter to HH Shaikh Nasser, expressing appreciation for His Highness’s heartfelt words and dedication. HM the King commended the significant efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser and his team in completing the strategic Bapco Modernisation Project, which aligns with Bahrain’s enduring legacy of development and innovation in the energy sector.

His Majesty the King commended the project’s inauguration as a significant achievement coinciding with Bahrain’s National Day and the 25th anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne HM King Hamad expressed gratitude for the contributions of all stakeholders involved in this vital initiative and conveyed his wishes for HH Shaikh Nasser’s continued success in serving the Kingdom and its people. His Majesty concluded the letter by wishing Bahrain continued progress and prosperity through the efforts of its dedicated citizens.

Determination

HH Shaikh Nasser underscored Team Bahrain's determination to overcome challenges and transform them into opportunities, emphasizing their commitment to elevating the Kingdom’s global standing through innovation and strategic initiatives. He said the 25th anniversary of HM the King’s accession was a milestone in Bahrain’s progress, emphasizing the unwavering commitment to fulfilling HM the King’s aspirations for the Kingdom’s future.

His Highness also referred to the launch of the Bapco Modernisation Project as a strategic step towards addressing future energy challenges and advancing Bahrain’s leadership in the sector.
