Emirates to Launch Airbus A350 Services to Kuwait and Bahrain Starting January 8

Emirates is advancing the deployment of its state-of-the-art Airbus A350 to Kuwait and Bahrain, with services set to commence on January 8, 2025. These destinations will become the second and third to be served by the airline’s newest aircraft, following its introduction on other routes.
Kuwait Service Details
The Emirates Airbus A350 will operate on flights EK853 and EK854.
EK853: Departs Dubai at 01:25 AM, arriving in Kuwait at 02:15 AM.
EK854: Leaves Kuwait at 03:40 AM, landing in Dubai at 06:25 AM.
Bahrain Service Details
The A350 will serve two of the airline’s three daily flights to Bahrain: EK837/838 and EK839/840.
EK837: Departs Dubai at 08:20 AM, arriving in Bahrain at 08:40 AM.
EK838: Departs Bahrain at 10:00 AM, arriving in Dubai at 12:15 PM.
EK839: Departs Dubai at 04:00 PM, arriving in Bahrain at 04:20 PM.
EK840: Departs Bahrain at 05:45 PM, landing in Dubai at 08:00 PM.
Aircraft Features
The three-class Airbus A350 offers 312 seats, including:
32 Business Class seats: Lie-flat next-generation design in a 1-2-1 layout.
21 Premium Economy seats: 2-3-2 configuration with enhanced comfort.
259 Economy Class seats: Spacious 3-3-3 arrangement.
Passengers can enjoy wider aisles, high ceilings, advanced inflight technology, faster Wi-Fi, and the latest version of the ice inflight entertainment system, offering a cinematic experience and an extensive media library.
Emirates’ Commitment to Kuwait and Bahrain
Emirates, serving Kuwait since 1989, currently operates 29 weekly flights to the country. The A350 introduction follows the deployment of the retrofitted Boeing 777 featuring Premium Economy and updated Business Class seats in October 2024.
For Bahrain, Emirates operates 22 weekly flights, which will now see a mix of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft.
