MP Mohammed Janahi has praised Bahrain’s growing line-up of tourism projects and events, hailing them as a clear driver of the Kingdom’s rising status as a go-to destination for visitors in the region and beyond.

Among the flagship initiatives, he singled out the Hawar Islands development project, describing it as a game-changing move to draw in high-quality investments, improve tourism services, fuel the economy, and open new job opportunities for locals.

Janahi said these efforts show how national strategies are tapping into Bahrain’s tourism potential in a way that balances growth with longterm sustainability.

He also applauded the buzz around events like “Retro Manama,” which brought an old-school vibe to the historic Manama Souq, and “Muharraq Nights,” which showcased Bahrain’s heritage through culture and the arts.

Meanwhile, attractions such as the “Winter Village” at The Avenues and the “Farmers’ Market” at Budaiya Botanical Garden were highlighted as key efforts to broaden recreational options and draw a wide mix of visitors.

Cultural roots Janahi urged ongoing work to improve tourism infrastructure and create events that connect with Bahrain’s cultural roots. He also emphasised the importance of working with the private sector to get projects off the ground and ensure visitors enjoy unique and memorable experiences.
